The Abominable Snowman
You know the one, from the funny, old stop-motion animated movie version of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer? I love that snowman. I was never afraid of him (but I was terrified of the flying monkeys in The Wizard of Oz!). I thought he was adorable. I always knew he'd turn out to be okay. Just seeing pictures of him—or of Kirby the Dentist, or any of those characters from the Island of Misfit Toys—makes me smile.
We had this guy on the back of our commode for the holidays. Sadly, some poor drunk staggered out of pyrate pub (the basement bar) and the next thing we know, the poor guy was pink. Someone should have been cut off of girly froo-froo drinks.
ReplyDeleteHe was never the same, and we had to send him back to the island via a hefty bag. It was a sad day.
